复兴离开

  1. Rejuvenation 离开 may be granted for up to two (2) consecutive calendar months.
  2. A regular full-time exempt employee on a twelve (12)-month appointment is eligible to apply for rejuvenation 离开 providing the employee has served the College as a regular full-time exempt employee on a twelve (12) month appointment for at least forty-eight (48) consecutive months or for at least forty-eight (48) consecutive months since the beginning date of any prior rejuvenation 离开 taken.
  3. Upon return from the rejuvenation 离开, the employee must serve in a professional status for a period commensurate with the amount of 离开 granted. 如果员工 fails to meet the obligation to serve the College for a period of time commensurate with the amount of the 离开 he/she is required to repay an amount equivalent to the salary received during the period of 离开. College notice of separation, or employee death, shall not equate to failure to meet the obligation to serve.
  4. In order to be entitled to rejuvenation 离开, the employee must first use all accrued annual 离开 in excess of thirty (30) days, (although he/she may choose to use all 累计年假日数). The employee must use all such accrued annual 离开 days in excess of thirty days consecutively with and immediately prior to any approved 恢复活力休假期.
  5. Outside employment, which detracts from rejuvenation, during the period of rejuvenation 禁止休假.
  6. Rejuvenation 离开 may be taken at any time during the contract year, but only at the convenience of the College and upon recommendation by the President and approval 董事会成员.
  • Rejuvenation 离开 does not accrue and any such 离开 not taken shall lapse. 失败 to take rejuvenation 离开 does not, however, affect the right of the employee to take and/or accrue annual 离开.
  • Except under highly unusual or extenuating circumstances the College may grant no more than five (5) rejuvenation 离开 requests to be taken during any fiscal year.

The purpose of this policy is to define and establish the terms and conditions for eligibility and the use of a rejuvenation 离开.

To Whom Does This 政策 Apply

This policy applies to all exempt employees. This policy does not apply to academic employees, classified employees, part-time temporary employees, or volunteers.

过程

  1. An employee shall first discuss the request for a rejuvenation 离开 with the immediate supervisor and administrator and obtain both the supervisor’s and administrator’s approval to proceed with the rejuvenation request.
  2. Following discussion with  the supervisor and administrator, and after obtaining approval, the employee must file a written request for a rejuvenation 离开 to the employee’s administrator not less than 75 days prior to the requested begin date of the 离开. The application request must include the need for the 离开, requested begin date of the 离开, and the date upon which the employee shall return from 离开.
  3. The employee’s administrator will then forward the request to the executive staff member with a plan to cover the employee’s work during the period of rejuvenation 离开.
  4. The employee’s executive staff member will review the request and determine whether to recommend the request to the President for review and approval. 如获批准, executive staff member forwards the request to the President.
  5. The President, at their discretion, will review the rejuvenation 离开 requests and determine which requests to recommend to the Board for approval.
  6. The Board, at its discretion, will review the rejuvenation 离开 requests recommended for approval and determine which requests to approve.
